Phase Order

Untap

This is the first phase of your turn where you untap all taped perminants.

Upkeep

This phase is a triger phase before your draw where you can use abilities as well as some abilities will activate every upkeep step.

Draw

This phase simply lets you draw your card for turn

Pre-Combat Main

This is 1 of the 2 main phases per turn, this is where you can cast all your spells and play lands.

Combat

This is the combat phase where you can attack other players

Post-Combat Main

This is 1 of the 2 main phases per turn, this is where you can cast all your spells and play lands.

End Step

This step is the end of your turn, you must discard any cards you have in your hand above 7 and well as some abilitys will trigger here.
