Combat
Declare Attackers
This step of combat is where you decide what creatures you are attacking and if you are playing a multi player game you also
decide which creature is attacking who.
Declare Blockers
This step is difretly after the declare attackers, this is where the players who where attacked can decide what creature they want to block
your attacking creatures, they can assign any number of creatures to block a single creature unless it has a specific ability that states otherwise.
Blockers must be able to block the attackig creature, there are some abilites that can prevent this such as flying, if an attacking creature has flying
the blocking creature must have either flying or reach to block them, there are other similar examples.
First Strike Damage
This step is specificaly for creatures with either double strike or first strike abilites. This is where creatures will deal their first strike damage to
either a plainswalker, player or creature. If the creature has first stike this is the only damage they deal, but if they have double strike they also deal damage on the
main comabt damage step. If a creature kills a creature blocking it on this step and the killed creature dose not have double or first stike, that creature will deal no
damage this combat and be sent to the graveyard.
Combat Damage
This is the main combat damage step. All creatures that deal damage this turn do so simultaniously. This means if a creature blocks another and they both deal enough damage to kill
the other, they will both deal this damage then they will both die. If a creature is blocked they will not deal damage to their target and instead only deal damage to the blocking creatures, unless
the attacking creature has trample then excess damage (damage that can be delt over top of the damage requier to kill all blocking creatures) will be delt to their target even if
the attacking creature dies from damage from the blocking creatures.
