Magic the Gathering Formats

There are multiple rule formats for playing Magic the Gathering. These formats change some rules about what can be played as each format has a diffrent banned cards list. The main changes are the number of cards in a deck, the number of repeated cards you can play in a deck eg having 4 copys of 1 card in your deck is legal in some formats but not all with the exception of specific cards that allow any of themselves in a deck, this applies to any format.
